Jersey-Atlantic Wind

Leeward Renewable Energy’s (LRE) Jersey-Atlantic Wind project is situated on land owned by the Atlantic County Utilities Authority in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and reached commercial operation in 2006. The project is comprised of 5 GE 1.5 MW wind turbine generators, and interconnects to the PJM Interconnection. We are a majority owner of the project, and we perform asset management services for the project. We sell the output from the Jersey-Atlantic project to the Atlantic County Utilities Authority under a long-term power purchase agreement.
