Project overview

  • Leeward Renewable Energy’s (LRE) Lone Tree Wind project is located near Tiskilwa, Illinois, and reached commercial operation in November 2020. With a nameplate capacity of 80 MW, the project is comprised of 32 GE wind turbine generators. The project interconnects to ComEd’s transmission system in PJM. We have executed a long-term virtual power purchase agreement with Target Corporation to purchase the output from the project.
