Mountain Breeze Wind

Leeward Renewable Energy’s (LRE) Mountain Breeze Wind project is located near Grover, Colorado, and reached commercial operation in October 2020. With a nameplate capacity of 171 MW, the project is comprised of 62 GE wind turbine generators. The project interconnects to Xcel Energy’s Public Service Company of Colorado transmission system. PSCo purchases output from the Mountain Breeze project under a long-term power purchase agreement.
