Greg Wolf

Chief Executive Officer

Greg Wolf is Leeward Renewable Energy’s CEO with over 20 years of leadership experience in renewables and the overall power industry.

Mr. Wolf oversees Leeward’s overall strategy, business operations of the existing 1,515.7 MW portfolio, and growth plans.

Most recently, Mr. Wolf served as President of Duke Energy Renewables. At Duke Energy, Mr. Wolf led the integrated renewable energy business, delivering high growth results and a strong operational track record.  Prior to assuming the President role, Mr. Wolf was Senior Vice President of Development for Duke Energy’s commercial unit, where he created Duke Energy’s solar and biomass business and managed a national development pipeline.  Mr. Wolf also held leadership roles at Duke predecessor company, Cinergy and General Electric.

Mr. Wolf earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from University of Cincinnati and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

Jason Allen

Chief Operations Officer

Jason Allen joined Leeward Renewable Energy as Chief Operating Officer, with over 25 years’ of senior leadership experience overseeing natural gas, hydro, coal, wind solar and battery storage power generation fleets.

Before joining Leeward, Mr. Allen served as Vice President of Operations – Power at AltaGas and had operational and P&L responsibility for their North American generation fleet.  Mr. Allen also worked in several executive roles while working for Duke Energy Corporation for over 20 years.  At Duke he served as Vice President, Fossil Hydro Operations Carolinas West, Senior Vice President Environmental Health and Safety, Vice President Duke Energy Renewable Operations, and numerous other positions within the corporation.  His achievements include, managing an 8,000 MW regulated generation fleet, which included coal, gas and hydro, managing Duke’s overall corporate safety program, implementing wind and solar operating strategy, and overseeing operations of a non-regulated portfolio (coal, gas, wind and hydro).

Mr. Allen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Andrew Flanagan

Senior Vice President of Development

Andrew Flanagan joined Leeward Renewable Energy’s predecessor company, Infigen Energy in 2011 and has responsibility for maximizing the value of Leeward’s assets. Mr. Flanagan has more than 17 years of experience in the asset management, project development, project management and project finance of wind, solar and natural gas power generation facilities.

Prior to his current position, he served as the Vice President – Development for Invenergy. Prior to Invenergy he held various development and asset management roles at Calpine Corporation.  Mr. Flanagan has successfully led the development, construction or asset management of 14 wind, solar and natural gas fired projects totaling more than 3,600 MW in operation.  Most recently he originated Infigen’s solar development business that grew to 1,400 MW of projects under development and 6 projects placed into construction before selling the business to SunPower Corporation in July 2015.

Mr. Flanagan holds a BS in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Chris Loehr

Chief Financial Officer

Chris Loehr is responsible for Leeward Renewable Energy’s finance, accounting, financial reporting, treasury, risk management and tax. Mr. Loehr has more than 17 years of experience in the energy industry and over 12 years in renewables, primarily wind and solar.

Before joining Leeward’s predecessor, Infigen Energy, he served as the Director, Finance for Invenergy LLC. Prior to Invenergy, he held various finance roles at Edison International and Enron Corp, as well as in energy investment banking at Jefferies & Co. At Invenergy, he successfully led or participated in over $700mm of natural gas fired financings and over $2b of wind project financings representing more than 2,400 MW of generation currently in operation.

Mr. Loehr holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rice University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Matt McGowan

Vice President of Commercial Optimization

Matt McGowan is responsible for optimizing Leeward Renewable Energy’s assets. Mr. McGowan has more than 15 years of experience in the energy industry, including asset management and project management experience in both renewable and traditional energy projects.

Before joining Leeward’s predecessor, Infigen Energy, in 2011, he served as the Director of Commercial Management at Calpine.  At Calpine, he was responsible for all commercial aspects of 2,500 MW of natural gas fired projects.

Mr. McGowan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Carley Huie

Human Resources Manager

Carley Huie is the Human Resources Manager for Leeward Renewable Energy. She joined Leeward’s predecessor company, Infigen Energy in 2010. Ms. Huie has more than 8 years of experience in human resources and is responsible for the recruiting, training, onboarding, talent management, payroll, employee benefits, and organizational development at Leeward.

Ms. Huie holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Organizational Behavior/Human Resources from the University of North Texas. In addition, Ms. Huie holds the Senior Human Resources Professional certification and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional designation from the Society of Human Resources Management.

Cedric Ireland


Cedric Ireland joined Leeward Renewable Energy in 2016 and is responsible for all of Leeward’s legal matters.

Prior to joining Leeward Mr. Ireland served as counsel for RES Americas and Compass Wind and was an associate at Husch Blackwell.  Mr. Ireland has participated in the development, financing, construction, purchase and/or sale of over two dozen wind and solar projects totaling more than 2GW in operation.

Mr. Ireland holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Pomona College and a JD degree from Boston College Law School.
