Conference topics included generation potential, O&M risks, and operational and planned wind assets.
Leeward’s Director of Field Services Troy Ryan was a member of the “Never Forget the Balance of Plant” panel. In the discussion, Ryan compared owner experiences in managing the stability of the ‘local grid’ and preventing BOP related disruptions to critical turbine strings. He also discussed best practices for managing the integrity of underground cables, transformers and substations, and cost saving initiatives.
The annual conference attracts experienced stakeholders, executive level decision makers and wind generation thought leaders.
